..What about irony mixed up with an archetypal shape and smart material concept?
here are the shock proof vasesby Tjep….
as they say..
“Every vase eventually breaks. The Do Break cracks but does not shatter when it hits the floor. Not only can the vase still be used but it also gains in beauty as the cracks multiply to form a unique pattern. From now on, any lover’s quarrel is an improvement.”

“We create identity through the consumption of goods and their added-value, but also increasingly through consuming “immaterial” experiences”
Eelko Moorer
I came to know about Eelko Moorer via VWork, being struck with his Placebo footwear…
The interaction between strong concepts, performances, product and graphic design is so distinctive and can be viewed behind all of his projects…

“A photograph does not speak, it does not smell, it makes no sound, it does not move, it is just a two dimensional piece of paper, but a good photograph can do at least one if not all of the above!”

I was having a look at Wooster Collective recent archives when I found this stuff from Docteur Gecko…. oh.. genial!!!!
Quoting from Wooster:
“Three years ago, Docteur Gecko found a new way for ‘hacking’ advertising that you find in bus shelters around the world. What’s unique about what Gecko does is that his modifications can only be seen during the night when the city lights the shelters. However, during daytime the ad modified seems to be untouched.”
