  1. the first set of years, the first set of years of reading, the first five years I read books,
were like a light to see someone elses window; a light to guide one’s way, just slightly,
down the street – slightly – and enough to make an imagination wild and crazy, and filled
with all kinds of strange hopes, unatainable adventures.

And then, that what guides me down the road I see inside a little more character, a little
    more life.

And then I am just standing, reading, reading everything, in the light of those windows.
(And, still looking at the third piece down, reading them in order I still see in further. And I see: )
And there are more stories coming from the light that shines on the bowed pages of my
book, my book that I’m holding in my head; my book that I cannot for all the love of my soul
    replace back onto the shelf.

And then, these last years I have been reading, the stories I hold began to fill my heart with
a glimpse, the character, of humanity.
