Gregory Euclide ’s relief paintings deal with the contradictions between the projection of idealized, as the artist says in his statement:
“My work explores the way we experience nature and how this is tied to the cultural practice of constructing landscapes as idealized images.
When we are in nature we experience the world through all of our senses in a dynamic way, but at the same time we are framing what we see through the cultural expectations we have absorbed through representational systems [...] It is impossible, then, to have a true, non-mediated experience of nature even though we may long for it…”

Human Motions is an amazing rapid-prototyping sculpture project by Peter Jensen in cohoperation with Materialise-MGX…
“Based on his ideas on transposition and movement the artist Peter Jansen uses shapes of the human body to create energetic spaces.
In his earlier works he focused on open spaces, created almost free of matter and weight.
In his recent sculptures he captures sequences of human movements in space and time, in a single frame.”
Love them.

Charlotte Daffern’s creations…
“…My investigations inform new enquiries which develop my progression and understanding of the world around me. I enjoy the juxtaposition of various elements and concepts that compliment and contradict each other such as irreverence with sophistication and exorbitance with rebellion. This results in an equivocality that spans a range of discourse subject matters relating to gender, fashion, sociology, culture and history.”

Watch it, feel it.
React.
Without speech, a mood, a reaction, an emotion, can be understood. My work demonstrates this physical communication.

Hanna Hedman’s pieces are not simply jewels, they are a symbolic representation of our feelings and our inner, emotional, fights. They’re a sort of touchable sum-up of situations everyone may get involved. Besides… they’re beatuful.
“Beauty might be seen as vain, but I find it interesting to contrast beauty with the unpleasant, serious and not so nice. The sad and disgusting can also be something beautiful. I use beauty to get the viewers attention, but there is so much more that I would like to convey other than beauty. Human weaknesses and underlying defense mechanisms are often themes that recur in my work. (…)“

The stunning, impressive works by Antony Crossfield…
“Through my art I seek to queston and undermine traditional conceptions of corporeality whilst exploring the relationship between the body and identity.
Western thought has traditionally viewed th human subject in a dualist way, as consisting of two separate entities – mind and body. Epitomised by Descartes, this view insists thatto be a self is above all to be distinguished from the other, to be ordered and discrete, a self secure within the well-defined boundaries of the body, capable of existing independently of the body rather than actually being the body…”

The designer gas masks – high fashion protection project by Diddo Velema…
“We are in a state of perpetual war… Perpetual war breeds perpetual fear.
…Deep down, we are afraid we may never be satisfied. An expanding archive of branded myths and icons feeds this fear. Designer Gas Masks is an attempt to visualize this state of mind. Because it is only by first acknowledging and then challenging fear that we will all be able to breathe a little easier”
