George Melies’ Les Voyage dans la lune color reel with soundtrack by Air
Recently unveiled at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, the color reel of   George Méliès’ iconic 1902 film Le Voyage dans la Lune (A Trip to the Moon), features a soundtrack by the French duo Air.  The reel, hand-painted by Méliès himself, was discovered in 1993 and took almost two decades to restore.The DVD will be released in February.
A pioneeristic visionary work brought back to life and enhanced by an hallucinatory sound… unmissable!!
